Budget
Technology spend tracker: monthly payment lines, FX to AZN, finance send lock, and payment-eve reminders. Not payroll or tax.

The catalog lists this module as generally available (GA). You still need to validate your company setup and any country-specific rules.
Before you begin
- Agree the monthly technology budget cap in AZN with finance (default operating cap is a company setting, not a tax rule).
- Confirm company FX for USD and EUR used only to convert payment lines to AZN.
- Name who may edit months versus who may only view the next-payment pack.
Setup steps
- Open Budget.
- Confirm the monthly cap and FX rates with an administrator.
- Prefill the next month from the previous month’s services.
- Enter any cleared amounts (Google Workspace Business Starter) before sending to finance.
Day-to-day use
- Review next month’s lines before month-end.
- Send the finance pack only when every line has a positive amount.
- Do not treat Budget totals as payroll, tax, or general-ledger postings.
Limitations and important notes
- FX defaults (USD 1.7, EUR 1.99) are company operating settings—not statutory tax rates.
- A month locks after send-to-finance; payment-eve reminders use Asia/Baku calendar dates.
- This module does not calculate payroll, social contributions, or tax filings.
